The British capital will yet again play host to one of the most anticipated nights of the year for Eurovision fans from far and wide as the London Eurovision Party 2018 will take place once again at the iconic Café de Paris venue in Leicester Square on Thursday 5th April.
Café de Paris will host once again
For the previous three years, Café de Paris has played host to the London Eurovision Party fantastically well and it was with no hesitation at all that the organisers Kabir Naidoo and Russell Davies chose to return to the venue for next year’s big event.
“We’ve had overwhelmingly positive feedback over the past few years about the Party taking place at Café de Paris. Such a prestigious venue makes a great host for our star-studded event!” said Kabir Naidoo.
Thursday is the new Friday
“A lot of thought and planning has gone into moving to a Thursday and we have consulted with the other parties taking place. The date has been chosen to ensure London plays a prominent part of the pre-party season once again in 2018 ahead of the big event itself, the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Lisbon, Portugal next May” added Russell Davies.
“This date also means that the London Eurovision Party 2018 will be one of the first parties of the preview season”, Russell continued.
“We want to ensure that Eurovision fans in the UK can enjoy the best night of the year with a whole host of Eurovision favourites, and it was easiest to do that in 2018 on Thursday 5th April. Thursdays are the new Friday, after all!” Kabir concluded.
