The Scoop

Anja Nissen needs YOUR help to stop unknown artist from stealing her music

Anja Nissen rose to fame in Europe after representing Denmark in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest. The Voice of Australia winner also released a brand new EP titled Where I Am. However, today Anja discovered that an unknown artist going by the name of Porche Adams has been stealing Anja’s music and passing it off as her own original material.

An elaborate, unfair scam?

Porche Adams claims to be signed to Def Jam Recordings and has recently announced a 2018 tour titled Sinful Prayer. Looking at her Instagram page, it is possible to listen to her “singles” such as Aphrodite and Faded. However, it is obvious that these singles are Anja’s songs sung by Anja herself. It is totally unfair that Porche, with 120,000 followers, is taking credit for Anja’s work.

Whether Porche is some elaborate scam or a real musical artist, she must be stopped. Therefore, help Anja by reporting her page and prevent Porche stealing the credit.

Returning Denmark to the final

Anja became the first Danish representative to reach the Eurovision grand final since Basim automatically qualified in 2014. Her victory with Where I Am at this year’s Dansk Melodi Grand Prix was her second attempt in the national selection. Last year, Never Alone narrowly missed out on winning the ticket to Stockholm. However, Anja finally got the chance to live her dream in Kyiv a few months ago!
Let us know your thoughts in the comments below and we wish the best to Anja in her mission to stop this injustice.

Ryan Cobb

My first memory of watching the Eurovision Song Contest was back in 2001 and, over the years, my passion and enthusiasm for the contest has very much turned into an obsession. I adore music and I love geography, so this contest is a natural fit for me. If la la loving Eurovision was a crime, I'd certainly be a criminal!
