JESC 2017 Rehearsals Day 2

It is day two of rehearsals!
So much has been happening with 8 more countries rehearsing today!
These countries were:

• Italy
• Malta
• Poland
• Portugal
• Russia
• Serbia
• The Netherlands
• Ukraine

First off, how can we look past Malta?! Aside from the fact we are both video game fans, Gianluca is one of the coolest kids on the planet. He was relaxed and energetic and the whole performance screamed fun! He’s one stylish little dude too rocking his look and proving why Malta is always a force to be reckoned with in Junior Eurovision.
Tree watch update! We now have two more acts with trees! Which acts I hear you ask? Why none other than Poland and Ukraine. For Poland’s tree it remains on the background graphics.
Hold your breath Extra readers.
Ukraine have a giant tree prop.
You read correctly, in keeping with tradition the Ukrainian’s have brought another large prop with them to Juniors! It looks beautiful and with the song it is absolutely stunning!
We need to mention the Returners to this years contest Portugal. In Mariana’s performance on the screens behind her roll past the most popular emoji’s. Yes. Most. Popular. Emoji’s. There is a smiling poo emoji on the screen, in Junior Eurovision. There were some chuckles in the Press Centre but as I said to everyone, when you think of Emojis – which ones immediately spring to mind.
