Måns Zelmerlöw and his girlfriend Ciara Janson are expecting their first child together!

This evening, Måns Zelmerlöw and his girlfriend Ciara Janson broke the news, that they are expecting their first child together. Both first met at a wedding in 2016. Afterwards, Måns spoke about love at first sight. They are engaged since this summer after Måns proposed to her during their vacation. So it seems, that next year will be a big year for the couple.

Måns Zelmerlöw and Ciara Janson

While Måns is good known to the Eurovision world after winning Eurovision in 2015, hosting the contest in 2016, appearing in the 2017 contest and being part in several editions of Melodifestivalen, Ciara Janson could be a bit unknown to many of us.

She is an English actress mostly known for her role in the famous British Soap Opera Hollyoaks. She was already part of various movies, TV appearances and radio gigs. Moreover, she is the mother of Archie, her son.

One of the first people who congratulated the couple on social media was Edward af Sillén. He is a good friend of Måns. He wrote many show scrips including ESC 2013 and 2016 and commentated the contest for Sweden. This year he was commentating together with Måns. One of his hashtags is #EurovisionBabyinMay. This couldn’t have been better planned if the baby really gets born in May. Sanna Nielsen commented with “Sooooo wonderful ♥”. We totally agree with Sanna!

The whole team at ESCXTRA wishes all the best to the young family.
We can’t wait to meet the hero of tomorrow!

Dominik Rössing

Hey, I'm Dominik from Germany. Watched my first Eurovision in 2003 and I was in love right away! Attended my first contest in 2011 and every contest since 2013. The same happened with Melodifestivalen. Started watching in 2006 and been to every final since 2017 and try to make it to at least one heat each year, too. After all, Melodifestivalen is the real deal ♥
