Over the past couple of weeks, an incredible 131 of you took part in round one of Eurovision Prediction 2018! Yes, you predicted who you thought would win the Albanian national final. Last night, Eugent Bushpepa won Festivali i Këngës 56 and therefore the Albanian ticket to Lisbon!
Calculating your points!
As we revealed prior to last night’s final, the most popular answer amongst our players was Inis Neziri. She placed third, while winner Eugent was the second most popular answer.
As stated in the rules, when a national final only reveals the exact placings of some of the finalists, in this case the top three placings, we use a hybrid of our two scoring systems. Therefore, those of you who predicted Eugent have received 14 points. While no-one predicted eventual runner-up Redon Makashi to win, you would have received 13 points if you had done so. Furthermore, those of you who predicted Inis have received 12 points.
As no other placings were revealed, predicting any other finalist to win has earned you 1 point. Unfortunately, if you chose an artist that failed to qualify from the semi-finals, then it is nil points for you this time.
Here is the scoreboard!
So what does this mean for the scoreboard? Well, it is very early days and we have a lot of ties. Indeed, 38 of you are currently tying for the lead. See where you stand and have a look at the scoreboard below in all of its glory!

Stay tuned for round two!
Thank you to everyone who took part in round one. Stay tuned for round two, which we expect to take place in January… perhaps the Czech national final will be next up?
