Group Iriao and Eurovision 2018
Group Iriao’s music has been described as a blend of Jazz with traditional Georgian elements. The groups director, David Malazonia, has worked in Germany and Georgia on several theatre and musical productions for over 30 years. It is unknown if the song they will perform in Lisbon will be chosen internally or by a national final. More details are expected to be announced soon.

Georgia has participated in Eurovision on ten occasions and has qualified for the final seven times. Their best results were in 2010 and 2011, where they achieved 9th on both occasions, respectively.
