Polish broadcaster TVP have confirmed the country will be participating at Junior Eurovision 2018.
TVP have released a document with their programming plans for next year, revealing their intention to participate at Junior Eurovision. Their representative will be chosen in October according to the document.
Poland returned to Junior Eurovision in 2017 after a 12 year absence. Alicja Rega represented Poland with the song ‘Mój Dom’ (My Home). Allicja finished in 8th place with 138 points, their most successful entry to date.
Minsk 2018
Belarus won the bidding process for Junior Eurovision 2018 and will host the contest in their capital Minsk. The EBU announced this before Junior Eurovision 2017 had begun. Minsk had previously hosted Junior Eurovision at Minsk Arena in 2010.
So far five countries have confirmed their participation in the contest. Earlier we reported that United Kingdom have shown interest in Junior Eurovision and may return.
