Working with Eurovision winning teams
Over the past few weeks, Saara has revealed she has worked with various songwriting teams to create the perfect three songs for the Finnish national final on March 3rd. Amongst these collaborators are Heroes songwriter Linnea Deb and Euphoria composer Thomas G:son! Time will tell if any of the songs made with these Eurovision-winning musicians will be amongst the final three.
Third time lucky
Back in November, YLE revealed they had internally selected Saara to represent Finland in the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest. Saara has previously attempted to represent Finland in both 2011 and 2016 with Blessed With Love and No Fear respectively, placing second both times. Furthermore, in late 2016, Saara rose to prominence in the United Kingdom after finishing runner-up in The X Factor UK after one of the most memorable journeys in the competition’s history.
