So, let’s get to know Mikolas a little bit better!
Who is Mikolas Josef?
Mikolas Josef is one of the six competing acts for the Czech national final Eurosong Song CZ. Mikolas is a 22 year old Czech singer, songwriter, and former model.
His national final entry is rumored to be the song “Lie To Me”.
Mikolas was born on October 4th 1995 in Prague to a musical familly. He started playing the guitar at the age of 5, and he later went on to graduate from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art as a drama student.
At age 17, Mikolas began modeling professionally and took part in fashion shows for clothing brands such as Diesel and Prada. However, he later left modeling due to the perceived dishonesty and superficiality within the industry.

He worked as a street performer and folk guitarist in several European cities such as Oslo, Zürich, Hamburg, and Vienna. He independently released his debut single “Hands Bloody” in 2015. The following year, he released the single “Free”, which became a top twenty hit in the Czech Republic. That same year, he also released the single “Believe (Hey Hey)”.
