The Scoop

Isabell Otrębus performs “Delirium” ahead of Polish national final participation

Last year, Isabell Otrębus finished in a very respectable fourth place at Krajowe Eliminacje, the national final in Poland. Now, Isabell is hoping to go three places better in 2018! Swedish-born Isabell performed Delirium a few days ago, the song she hopes will take her to Lisbon in May.

A Eurovision-winning team

Delirium is written by Elize Ryd and Johan Thander and is produced by Thander alongside Joy Deb. Joy, of course, was part of the team behind 2015 Eurovision winning entry Heroes. Watch Isabell’s first performance of the track during a Polish New Year’s Eve concert broadcast on TVP2.

One month to go

Krajowe Eliminacje 2018 is expected to take place in February. Last year, Isabell took part with Voiceless, placing fourth. The winner was Kasia Moś, who won the jury vote and finished second in the Polish televote with Flashlight. Kasia took Poland to their fourth consecutive Eurovision final, placing 22nd.

What do you think of Delirium? Do you think it can do even better than Voiceless and give Isabell that Krajowe Eliminacje win? Let us know in the comments below!

My first memory of watching the Eurovision Song Contest was back in 2001 and, over the years, my passion and enthusiasm for the contest has very much turned into an obsession. I adore music and I love geography, so this contest is a natural fit for me. If la la loving Eurovision was a crime, I'd certainly be a criminal!
