Lithuania’s LRT reveals all 48 participants for Eurovizijos 2018

Earlier this month, the three-month Lithuanian selection began with the first heat. However, it was still unknown exactly who the overall participant list consisted of. Nevertheless, LRT has now revealed all 48 entries that will be taking part in this year’s competition!


A late withdrawal

A total of 48 entries have been chosen to take part in Eurovizijos 2018. Indeed, LRT explains that 49 entries were originally in the line-up. However, fan favourite Erica Jennings recently withdrew from the competition citing a “cringeworthy” jury panel amongst a number of reasons.

The 48 entries are as follows, sorted alphabetically by artist name.

Show 1 – January 6th
Show 2 – January 20th
Show 3 – January 27th
Show 4 – February 3rd
Show 5 – February 10th
Show 6 – February 17th
Show 7 – February 24th
Semi-Final – March 3rd
Final – March 11th

The winner of the first heat was Ieva Zasimauskaitė. Her ballad When We’re Old scored top marks from both the national jury and the public televote!

My first memory of watching the Eurovision Song Contest was back in 2001 and, over the years, my passion and enthusiasm for the contest has very much turned into an obsession. I adore music and I love geography, so this contest is a natural fit for me. If la la loving Eurovision was a crime, I'd certainly be a criminal!
