Blanche announces new international tour

She was the favourite of European hearts during the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kyiv. And she’s back! Eight months after Eurovision, Belgium’s rising star Blanche has announced a new tour.

Blanche to visit four cities

Blanche’s tour is making a careful start. The first schedule of her tour contains just four cities. On her tour, she’ll be visiting Luxembourg, Belgium, the Netherlands and Austria. The schedule is as follows:

  • 25th April: Esch-zur-Alzette – Rockhal Floor
  • 26th April: Amsterdam – Paradiso
  • 27th April: Brussels – Botanique
  • 3rd May: Vienna – Chelsea Club

A tour of just four days in a little over a week might sound a bit short. But fear not! Blanche also immediately announced that she will be adding more dates and venues soon. Perhaps she might even visit a city near you?

New music

The Belgian songstress has also promised us new material. After taking part in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kyiv, she will now come up with new material. The new material is all stuff she has been working on recently. Since finishing her biggest adventure to date, she’s been working for months on the new singles.

Her old music still hasn’t been forgotten, though. Walloon broadcaster RTBF have nominated Blanche for three D6bel Awards. The singer has been nominated as Revelation of the Year, as well as Pop Singer of the Year. Of course, “City Lights” is also one of the nominees for Hit of the Year. You can vote for her here. In the hit category, Blanche will have to fight off competition from fellow Eurovision contestant Loïc Nottet.

Blanche came fourth in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017, making it Belgium’s third consecutive top ten position. “City Lights” definitely scored much better with televoters than with the juries, who didn’t even have her as a qualifier in the semifinal.

Are you looking forward to new music from Blanche? Are you planning on visiting a concert now she’s announced the dates? Let us know below or on social media, such as Facebook and Twitter!
