Kristian Kostov starts 2018 with a bang!

If 2017 was a good year for Kristian Kostov, 2018 may prove to be even better. Within the first two weeks of January, three exciting developments for Kris have been announced. Kostov has found out that “Beautiful Mess” received the most airplay in Bulgaria in 2017. He has also been voted “Most Beautiful Bulgarian Man” of 2017. Plus with an upcoming collaboration due alongside Norway’s 2017 Eurovision representative JOWST, this year has started with a bang for the young Bulgarian star.

“Beautiful Mess” tops airplay charts

Courtesy of the BNT Eurovision Twitter account, it has been confirmed that in 2017, the song that received the most plays on Bulgarian radio and TV was indeed their Eurovision entry. “Beautiful Mess” finished in second place in the Grand Final, achieving Bulgaria’s best result to date. The entry, written by Alex Vargas, Alex Omar, Joacim Persson, Sebastian Arman & Borislav Milanov, won the first semi-final.

53.3% voted him Bulgaria’s Most Beautiful Man

Amongst a long-list of 50 nominees, Kris found himself up against some top competition in this public vote. However, he came out on top thanks to his fans – #TeamKris – who got their star to the top of the poll with a staggering 53.3% of the total 30,000 votes cast online.

JOWST x Kristian Kostov is coming soon

Today, BNT Eurovision teased #TeamKris fans worldwide by declaring that they had heard a snippet of the upcoming collaboration between Norway’s JOWST and Kristian Kostov himself. JOWST who finished in tenth place with “Grab the Moment” alongside vocalist Aleksander Walmann at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 has previously teased the song himself, whilst Kris just called it “🔥” (we presume he means “lit”).
Indeed, BNT Eurovision also used the fire emoji today saying, “it’s FIRE! So much hit potential!”

Already this month, Kristian Kostov has released his latest single “The One (I Need You)” to overwhelmingly positive feedback throughout the continent from both bloggers and fans.
The whole team at ESCXTRA sends its congratulations to Kris for his latest achievements and we’re very excited to hear the upcoming project with JOWST!

I absolutely did vote for Kris because whenever I look at him I see much beauty. God’s masterpiece – I have no doubt.
It’s plain to see that this boy is physically beautiful and that he was wonderfully made. There are lots of things I personally like about Kristian’s looks. His face is a pleasure for the eyes. His smile is honestly one of the most radiant smiles ever! His hair… so thick and soft-looking. His wonderful arms and hands – perfectly made for hugging and holding.
I see beauty inside of him too. Beauty of the kind, sincere, loving heart. Kris really wants to make people happier. While I don’t share his views on certain issues and don’t approve of all his actions, I still believe that Kris has much good to give to the world.
Oh, I’ve just realised I haven’t mentioned his voice! Well, in my opinion it has this special quality that whatever it touches, changes into gold. Even the most mediocre songs start to sound more interesting. And he can turn vulgar into subtle. I especially like him singing ballads.
Yeah, I seriously think Kristian Kostov will be the primary reason for global warming this year! 😉
P.S. Can’t wait for the results of JOWST + Kris collab.

Mr Krostov was in Eurovision thanks to his acquaintances. He is a friend of a man who writes songs for Eurosision. Mr Krostov didnt take a part in preselection like other countries. Its a scam for me. Besides, Mr Krostov is vocalky very weak.
