The Czech Republic have announced the members of their international jury. The ten members are all former Eurovision entrants. Some from a recent contest, some from a while back…
Eurostars galore
The Czechs have decided to ask ten former entrants of the Eurovision Song Contest. They all represent different nations in the contest. Below you can find a list of the ten jury members:
- Dami Im (Australia 2016)
- Robin Bengtsson (Sweden 2017)
- Naviband (Belarus 2017)
- SunStroke Project (Moldova 2010 & 2017)
- Sanja Vucic (Serbia 2016)
- Jalisse (Italy 1997)
- Iveta Mukuchyan (Armenia 2016)
- Nathan Trent (Austria 2017)
- Norma John (Finland 2017)
- Liora Simon (Israel 1995)
These ten have all cast their votes on the six Czech hopefuls. They will produce the first part of the Czech national final results. The other part comes from an online voting. Through the official Eurovision app, Czech fans could vote for their favourite. Together, they will decide upon the Czech entrant for the Eurovision Song Contest 2018.
Results next week
It will take a while for the Czech Republic to announce the winner of their national final. The app voting will close tonight and the international jury votes are in, but we will have to wait a full week before we hear who will represent the Czechs. The results will be announced on January 29th.
Mikolas Josef seems to be the hot favourite to win the show with his “Lie To Me”. He is also the artist you have predicted to win the show. However, the other candidates seem to be catching up with him, with Debbi emerging as a dark horse in recent weeks.
