Eric Saade will perform at the opening ceremony of Vasasloppet Winter Week on February 23rd. After that he will tour Sweden with his new material.
Busy year for Eric
At the end of last year Eric appeared in Så mycket bättre, where artists covered songs by other artists. During the show we also saw Eric putting his own spin to Sweden’s Eurovision entry from 1985, “Bra vibrationer”.
This spring Eric Saade will tour Sweden with lots of new material. He will start his tour from Where’s the Music? festival on February 9th, where over 100 artists will perform over two days. He is very excited to be back on the stage.
A lot has happened in recent years and even more will happen. That’s why it’s going to be fun to play live again. So come there or be boring!
Vasasloppet?!
Vasasloppet is an annual long-distance cross-country ski race. It is the oldest and longest cross-country ski race in the world, as well as the one with the highest number of participants.
The 90 kilometers long course starts from the village of Sälen and ends in the town of Mora in northwestern Dalarna, Sweden. Over 58,000 participants have so far signed up for Vasaloppet Winter Week 2018.
Eric Saade at Eurovision
Eric Saade has taken part in Melodifestivalen three times, most recently in 2015 with “Sting”. In 2011 he represented Sweden with “Popular” and finished third behind Azerbaijan and Italy.
This started the new rise of Sweden in the contest, after they failed to qualify in 2010. Since then Sweden has won the contest twice and finished in top five four times.
