JOWST is inviting Naviband, Brendan Murray, Mørland and other Eurovision stars to Oslo Songwriting Camp.

Eurovision 2019 winner in the making?

Joakim With Steen, who is better known as JOWST, is currently taking part in Norway’s Melodi Grand Prix as a songwriter, but he is already looking to 2019 and is ready to write the winning entry with his friends from Eurovision.

After building friendships in Kyiv, JOWST is now inviting Eurovision 2017 participants Naviband, Brendan Murray, Martina Barta and the singer of his entry “Grab the Moment” Aleksander Walmann to Oslo. Joining them also are Kjetil Mørland, who represented Norway in 2015 and songwriter Jonas McDonnell and singer Jesper Jenset.

JOWST at Eurovision

JOWST won Melodi Grand Prix 2017 with “Grab the Moment” and represented Norway in Kyiv. In the final he finished tenth with 158 points.
After that JOWST has collaborated with other Eurovision singers by remixing their entries and other songs. Most recently he remixed Nathan Trent’s “Good Vibes”.
This year JOWST is back at Melodi Grand Prix 2018 as a songwriter. He is behind Aleksander Walmann’s entry “Talk to the Hand”.

I started watching Eurovision back in 2006, when I was only 10 and couldn't stay up to see Lordi winning. I attended my first contest in 2013 in Malmö. I'm studying journalism and I love music — you will probably never see me without my headphones on.
