Poland’s Krajowe Eliminacje 2018 confirmed for 3rd March

TVP, the Polish broadcaster, have confirmed that Poland’s Eurovision national selection Krajowe Eliminacje 2018 will be held on 3rd March. 
TVP confirmed in a post to Facebook that Krajowe Eliminacje will be broadcast on TVP live at 21:30 CET. Krajowe Eliminacje has been used in the last two years to select the Eurovision entry for Poland. TVP opened submissions earlier this year, with the final lineup for the national final to be confirmed at a later date.

Krajowe Eliminacje a successful selection so far

Poland’s choice to use a national selection has been successful so far, giving the country to qualifying Eurovision entries with one top ten finish. Michal Szpak placed eighth in the Eurovision 2016 Grand Final with his song “Colour of Your Life”. He received 229 points overall, the majority from coming third in the televote. Kasia Mos was chosen to represent Poland in Kyiv in 2017, qualifying for grand final and finishing 22nd with a total of 64 points.
