After two semi-finals and a long final show, the new French National Selection, Destination Eurovision 2018, reveals its winner. And it is Madame Monsieur who will represent France in Lisbon, with “Mercy”.

The final was long, lasting more than three hours, but we finally know the winner, and the French entry for 2018. Madame Monsieur won the selection with 186 points, thanks to their victory in the televote: the juries had them ranked 3rd.

After that, the televote points were added, in the style of Sweden’s Melodifestivalen: the 420 televote points (the same amount of points the jury gives) were divided proportionally to each act’s score with the televote (10% of the vote gives 10% of the points, 42 points).
