The past few year Songvakeppnin has had several foreign guests performing at the national final. This time is no different, and RUV has invited Robin Bengtsson to perform at the final in March. The final will be live on the 3rd of March.
“I can´t go on” got quite popular in Iceland and therefore it got played a lot on the radio. So the Icelanders and the viewers of Songvakeppnin can look forward to his performance. Bengtsson place 5th at Eurovision last year.
Robin Bengtsson not the only Swedish guest performer
Like mention at the begin, few Eurovision artist have performed for the Songvakeppnin. Last year Måns Zelmerlöw performed and was on the international jury. Along with Alexasander Rybakke perfomed there as well. Loreen and Sandra Kim came for a visit the final in 2016, but then RUV was celebrating their 30 years old anniversary at Eurovision.
