Tonight the second semi-final of Selecția Națională took place in Romania. It was the second of five heats to choose the Romanian entry out of sixty songs. Tonight’s show took place in Timișoara and three lucky winners were found based on 100% jury voting.

Romania in Eurovision
Since the introduction of the semi-finals in 2004, Romania made it always to the grand final. Two 3rd places are the best results of the country. They achieved this in 2005 and 2010. Last year Romania was represented by Ilinca feat. Alex Florea and “Yodel” It” and got a 7th place in the final of Kyiv. This year Ilinca is in the jury and Alex Florea got eliminated in the first semi-final.
