Over the past couple of days, you have been taking part in round seven of Eurovision Prediction 2018. This evening, Netta Barzilai was crowned the winner of the Israeli national selection. Therefore, let’s see how the results of the show affect our scoreboard!
Calculating your points!
As stated in the rules, our scoring system varies depending on what results are revealed during the broadcast. In Israel, all four finalists were ranked throughout the show. Chen Aharoni was eliminated in the first part of the show, so earns you 1 point for his 4th place finish. The other three acts reached the end of the show and were ranked on a scoreboard. As a result, predicting Netta earns you 4 points, Jonathan earns you 3 points and Riki earns you 2 points.
Here is the scoreboard!
So what does this mean for the scoreboard? As we revealed earlier this evening, the majority of you predicted Chen Aharoni to win! Instead, he finished in fourth place. Eventual winner Netta was only our third most popular answer.
Despite predicting eventual runner-up Jonathan to win, Joana remains on top of our scoreboard. Ana F leaps into joint second place as a result of being the highest person on the previous scoreabord to predict winning act Netta. Emily and Jack R remain amongst this chasing pack too, matching Joana with the prediction of Jonathan.
Unfortunately, our biggest loser from the leading pack this time around is Aquila after predicting last-placed Chen, along with the majority of our players. However, with this being a low-scoring round, Aquila stays firmly inside the top ten.
See how you rank amongst our 188 players below and let us know if you are moving up or down the table!
