Tonight: Semi-finals in Portugal and Romania

The world of Eurovision just doesn’t stop! Tonight, we will have two more shows, with Romania completing the line-up for their final and host country Portugal starting their quest for Salvador’s successor.

Portugal are living the Eurovision dream. This year’s contest will come live from Lisbon after they won the contest in Kyiv. The traditional Festival da Canção will return once more to select the host entry. In total, 26 acts will compete, with thirteen lining up for tonight. RTP selected the composers, who then got to pick a singer for their act. Two former Eurovision acts, Anabela and José Cid, will be on stage tonight to fight for a place in Portugal’s final. Seven acts will qualify tonight. Below, you can see the list of competitors in alphabetical order:

The end is coming closer for Romania’s marathon national final. 47 acts have already taken the stage and only twelve remain. Those twelve will be fighting for the last three spots in the final. Sighișoara will play host for the final semi-final. We’re back to a theatre after last week’s show from a salt mine.
