Vid Valič will be sharing hosting duties in the final with Raiven, who has had two previous participations in EMA. (2016 and 2017). It will be a busy night for Raiven as she will also be performing both her EMA entries, ‘Črno bel’ and ‘Zažarim’, as well as her brand new single. Other special guests include, Omar Naber (2017) and Maja Keuc (2011), now known as her stage name Amaya. The winner of EMA 2018 will be determined by 50% regional juries and 50% public televote.

EMA has been Slovenia’s selection process since its revival as a format in 2014. Last year Omar Naber was the second time winner of EMA, returning to Kiev where he first represented Slovenia in 2005. Unfortunately both times he failed to qualify for the Eurovision Grand Final.

My first Eurovision memory was watching 1994 as a hatchling. I've been tapping my talons to the bops and bangers from Europe and beyond ever since! I finally spread my wings to attending the contest in Lisbon 2018 and am now a regular at many events and national finals - especially my regular nest at Eesti Laul.
