The London Eurovision Party 2018 is delighted to announce Alfred and Amaia from Spain as the sixth confirmed act to be taking to the stage at the Café de Paris, Leicester Square on Thursday 5th April.
Operación Triunfo selects a duet for Eurovision
After a long and gruelling Operación Triunfo competition, the Eurovision gala of the show was won by a romantic biographical duet by the young pair of Alfred and Amaia. Their friendship blossomed into a budding romance as the weeks went on as the duo bonded over their respective artistry. “Tu canción” is a song that describes the relationship between the two artists.
Following the Eurovision gala, Amaia went on to be crowned the champion of this year’s edition of the reality competition programme.
The waltzing “Tu canción” has appealed to fans both in their home country of Spain as well as to Eurovision fans across the continent.
Six acts confirmed, who’s next?
Spain’s act is the sixth confirmed country to perform at the London Eurovision Party 2018. The other acts which have already been announced are:
- Headline act: SuRie from the United Kingdom
- Madame Monsieur from France
- Eugent Bushpepa from Albania
- Ryan O’Shaugnessy from Ireland
- Cesár Sampson from Austria
