Before we will get the snippets for the fourth and last semi-final of Melodifestivalen 2018, we will take a short look back at last weeks semi-final. In Malmö, Martin Almgren and Jessica Andersson qualified to the final of Melfest. This is what they said right after the show ended:
Martin told us, that he really could not believe when they called his name as a finalist. He wasn’t expecting it at all. After the show, he still needed time to realize what happened. In a previous interview with us, he told us, that he only focuses on the camera and his work during his performance. After qualifying for the final, he could see the audience celebrating his song. Talking about performing in Friends Arena, he can’t really imagine how it will be in front of such a big audience.
The other finalist who could not believe what happened was Jessica. She knew, that she had a chance, but as this was such a close semi-final, she was not expecting this at all. Until it is time for Stockholm, she will try to improve her performance even more.
After the last semi-final of Melodifestivalen 2018 this Saturday, we will get all the songs including all the finalists. This will show how well their songs perform on Spotify and iTunes.
Later today, you will get the first snippets and the first videos of the performances from the remaining 7 artists. Let’s see, if we have a winner in the fourth semi-final. Stay tuned 😉
