Yesterday, February the 22nd was filled with Eurovision stars that had a birthday. However, today, there is four letter name theme. Two birthday girls both performed in the 80’s with their groups. The younger one sang the song made by her band member and husband. The older one entered the Eurovision Song contest Two times! Lise Haavik and Maxi were born on this day!
Maxi, 68
Ireland selected Maxi to go on their behalf to Luxembourg in 1973. She performed the song “Do I Dream” then 23 years old. The song received 90 points and therefore finished 10th at Eurovision. She returned back in 1981 then with the band Sheeba, with the song “Horoscopes“. That song got even more points, 105 in total, which secured the band the fifth place.

Lise Haavik, 56
Denmark selected the duet Trax to represent them in Bergen, Norway in 1986. In the band was then married couple Lise and John Hatting. She sang the song “Du er fuld af løgn”, written by John. At the end of the show, the song got 77 points, and reached the sixth place at the out of 20 entries.
