Lisbon 2018

Studio versions for 1in360 finalists released!

After weeks of multiple accoustic versions, changes to the rules, more changes and even more changes, we finally have the studio versions for all* 11 competing songs in San Marino’s National selection 1in360.

Last week each artist was paired with the song they are going to perform at the 1in360 final. Fans have been listening to the accoustic versions ever since, waiting to get their hands on the full studio recordings. Finally the wait is over. The studio versions are now out there for the public to dissect (and possibly invest their life savings in, should they so desire). Listen to the 11 songs on the playlist down below:

*Note: Sara de Blue’s entry was removed from youtube shortly after release. The official reason given was this: “Sara wanted it deactivated pending upload of a new version with better production on Monday. Sorry.” We will update the playlist as soon as her entry is back online.

1in360 final happening next week

Europe’s favourite soap opera will reach its exciting conclusion in just one week. On March 3 a combination of the (now Zoëless) jury votes and investments placed through Global Rockstar (now reduced to a minimum of 2 euros per investment/vote) will decide the Sanmarinnese entry for Eurovision 2018.

San Marino at Eurovision

For a brief history lesson: San Marino has taken part of Eurovision eight times. Four of those with Eurovision royalty Valentina Monetta. Unfortunately, they have only managed to qualify once back in 2014 thanks to (again) Valentina Monetta and her dreamy ballad “Maybe”.

To fight off monotony, American born singer Jimmy Wilson was brought on to accompany her on stage last year. However, their 70s inspired eurodance track managed to score only 1 point from the televoters. Will a fresh new artist bring a better result this year? Maaaaaaaaaaaybe.

Are you excited for the 1in360 final? What do you think of the final studio versions? Which one is your favourite? What do you plan on doing with your millions after receiving 70 years worth of royalties?
