Sennek (Laura Groeseneken) will debut her Eurovision 2018 entry for Belgium on Tuesday 6th March.
The song is expected to be first played on Belgian radio in the morning, Songfestival.be speculating the premiere is most likely to happen on ‘De Grote Peter van de Veire Ochtendshow’. Peter van de Veire has been the Flemish commentator for Eurovision since 2014 and Sennek has been invited before on the show.
Sennek has previously described her Eurovision entry as a “mysterious song” and not typical of the contest.
“It will be a pop song, but not a typical one. Not even for the Eurovision Song Contest. It is a bit mysterious.”
High expectations
There will be high expectations for Belgium as they have achieved a top ten placing three years in a row, making them a recent favourite for Eurovision fans. Last year Blanche reached 4th in the grand final of Eurovision 2017 with her song “City Lights”.
