Michael Schulte will perform at the London Eurovision Party

The London Eurovision Party 2018 is delighted to announce that Michael Schulte, the German representative this year, will be performing upon the Café de Paris stage on Thursday 5th April.

From the Voice to Eurovision

In 2012, Michael Schulte placed third on the first season of The Voice of Germany as part of Rea Garvey’s team.
Following his success on the show, he released his debut studio album Wide Awake in autumn 2012.
It is not uncommon for former participants of talent show The Voice to go on to participate in Eurovision. Other entrants include Belgium’s fourth-place act Loïc Nottet and France’s sixth-place act Amir.
Michael Schulte’s Eurovision entry which will represent Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 is called “You Let Me Walk Alone” and is a very personal song co-written by the artist himself.
Needless to say, we are delighted to be able to welcome Michael to the iconic Leicester Square venue of Café de Paris and we are sure the audience will give him a very warm welcome!

Seven acts confirmed with more still to come!

Michael Schulte from Germany is the seventh act that is confirmed to perform at the London Eurovision Party 2018. Previously announced acts are:

  • SuRie (United Kingdom) – Headline act
  • Alfred and Amaia (Spain)
  • Cesár Sampson (Austria)
