Jessica Mauboy’s entry “#WeGotLove” official out with a music video

The song already leaked this week, but today Jessica Mauboy officially released her Eurovision entry together with its’ music video.

Familiar names behind the song

The music video was uploaded to the official YouTube channel of Eurovision Song Contest and the song is now also available on streaming services in Australia. For Europe the song should be available at midnight.

The song is written by DNA Songs, the award-winning team of Anthony Egizii and David Musumeci together with Jessica herself. DNA Songs also wrote Australia’s entries in the past two years.

Jessica Mauboy and Eurovision

Jessica Mauboy was selected internally by Australia’s broadcaster SBS and she was announced as Australia’s representative in December.
Before this, Jessica sang on the Eurovision stage in 2014, when Australia wasn’t one of the official participants yet. This cleared the way for Australia to officially take part in the contest.
Since then Australia has taken part three times and qualified to the final every year. Their best result is second place from 2016, when Dami Im represented the country with “Sound of Silence”.

I started watching Eurovision back in 2006, when I was only 10 and couldn't stay up to see Lordi winning. I attended my first contest in 2013 in Malmรถ. I'm studying journalism and I love music โ€” you will probably never see me without my headphones on.
