Salvador Sobral one of the interval acts for Lisbon

It was recently confirmed on the Eurovision website which artists will be performing in this year’s shows as interval acts.

The reigning champion is returning

RTP confirmed that current Eurovision Song Contest winner, Salvador Sobral will be part of this year’s show. He will be performing his winning song ‘Amar Pelos Dois’. In addition to his winning entry, they also confirmed that Salvador will be performing new material that he has been working on.

Mariza and Ana Moura performing together for the first time

Mariza is one of the most well-known singers in Portugal, having sold over 1 Million records worldwide and exporting the Portuguese music: ‘Fado’.  You are able to watch her perform her well-known single ‘Feira de Castro’ down below:

Alongside Mariza, is Ana Moura, who is also a Fado singer. Mariza is one of the youngest fadistas to be nominated for a Dutch Edison award. Her catalogue also includes her 2012 release ‘Desfado’ which topped the Portuguese album charts and stayed there for 117 weeks.
Right below is one of her latest releases, titled ‘Dia De Folga’.

This is a world exclusive, as this will be the first instance that both of these Fado singers will be performing together.

BeatBombers to perform in the opening ceremony

The DJ duo will be making the soundtrack for the flag parade that will be taking place in the Grand-Final. The duo also provided the soundtrack for the video where Lisbon was announced as the host-city for Eurovision this year.

DJ Branko will create an electronic journey of music around the world.

Finally, the last interval act is one of Portugal’s well-known DJ’s, DJ Branko, who is also a host of Enchufada Na Zona on NTS Radio. You can listen to his latest release with PEDRO titled MPTS.
