Ilse DeLange has today premiered her first solo music release in five years. Her new song ‘OK’ is a return to a more mainstream pop sound that featured in her late solo work before forming her country music focused band The Common Linnets.
Ilse has been working on new solo material for some time now, so this new release is a hint of what’s to come on a future album to be released later in the year. She will soon celebrate 20 years since the release of her debut album ‘World Of Hurt’ with special sold out concerts in Amsterdam.

The Common Linnets
Taking a break from her successful country/pop solo career Ilse formed The Common Linnets with singer Waylon. In 2014 they represented The Netherlands at the Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen. Their song ‘Calm After The Storm’ with it’s impressive staging earned them 2nd place. After the contest Waylon left the group to focus on his own solo career, but Ilse continued with The Common Linnets touring Europe and releasing two albums. Waylon returns to the Eurovision stage this year in Lisbon, representing The Netherlands with his song “Outlaw In ‘Em”.
Ilse has also gone onto working as a coach on The Voice Of Holland, The Voice Kids and has a role in hit US TV show ‘Nashville’.
