In a quiet and private setting, both UK’s SuRie and Finland’s Saara Aalto sit down to discuss previous experiences in the music industry (including Eurovision) over a cup of tea.
The interview kicks off with both of the talented ladies walking around Camden, north London delivering fashion moments that truly do feel true to themselves and their personalities.
The quintessential tea party
The ladies sit down for a “one on one” friendly chat and discuss their previous experiences/connections to the Eurovision Song Contest.
Keeping things completely cool, in true SuRie manner she says that the most important thing is to enjoy the moment and have fun.
Will history repeat itself?
Saara reveals that every single time she competed in a talent show she’s ended up second which just puts a bit of extra pressure when it comes to doing Eurovision.
Coincidentally enough, SuRie’s past two Eurovision projects (providing backing vocals for Belgium’s Loic and Blanche) have resulted with finishing fourth on both occasions.
Will history repeat itself? Both of the ladies jokingly agree that they will both improve their previous results and share the Euroivison trophy by coming in first together.
SuRie and Saara at Eurovision
SuRie will perform her entry “Storms” during the grand final of the contest waving the flag of the United Kingdom on the 12th of May. Meanwhile, Saara Aalto will have to battle it out in the first semi final on the 8th of May in order to earn her spot in the Eurovision final.
Would you like to see the ladies in a duet in the near future? Will they be able to break the pattern and improve their results? What do you think of Saara’s “Monsters”? Do you like SuRie’s “Storms”? Where would you place them in your Eurovision rankings?
