Revamps, covers and remixes. The Eurovision season keeps on providing us with fun new ways to hear our favourites, as Netta teams up with Sagi Kariv and releases a hot new club remix of “Toy”, giving you all a reason to try out some new dance moves.
That’s right! Noted club DJ and music producer Sagi Kariv worked some of his usual magic to help turn “Toy” into a true dance club banger. It was, however, dechickenized in the process, so just add some back in yourself. You can do it, I believe in you! It’s still a fun alternative take on the song, while being careful not to lose any of the colourful vibe of the original nor the powerful message behind the lyrics.
Remix? What about the original? UPDATE ME!
It has been one heck of a journey so far. Netta rushed all the way to the top of the odds even before she had officially released her entry and has remained there ever since, not even once tripping over Estonian fabric or getting trampled by Czech camels.
The song has now gotten over seven million views on YouTube, charted in multiple countries all around Europe and even managed to spread the infectious madness all the way to Uganda. The hype doesn’t seem to be dying down any time soon and it’s only a matter of time until we know if she can take the Eurovision trophy home or not.
