Eurovision legend

After winning the contest in 1956, Lys took part in the contest again the next two years. In 1957 she represented Switzerland with “L’enfant que j’étais” and finished eight.
Lys returned to the contest again in 1958 and sang the song “Giorgio”. Then she finished second.
She tried to return to the contest again two times, in 2012 and 2013. In 2012 she sang the song “C’était ma vie” in the final of Switzerland’s national selection. In 2013 she took part in Switzerland’s national selection again with the song “All In Your Head”.
On the recent years Lys has been present on the contests. In 2013 she was a special guest on the show and was seen chatting with the host Petra Mede in the green room.
On behalf of the ESCXTRA Team, we would like to offer our condolences to Lys’s friends and family at this difficult time.

I started watching Eurovision back in 2006, when I was only 10 and couldn't stay up to see Lordi winning. I attended my first contest in 2013 in Malmö. I'm studying journalism and I love music — you will probably never see me without my headphones on.
