Just a few hours ago, Michael Schulte revealed the happy news on his Instagram by posting an ultrasound picture in front of girlfriend Katharina’s baby belly!
According to the accompanying message, the baby will be born in late August.
Michael Schulte sings about his father
Michael, who we will see on stage in Café de Paris at the London Eurovision Party in a couple of weeks, sings about the loss of his own father in his Eurovision entry “You Let Me Walk Alone”. However, the song is now taking on another, even deeper meaning.

In his instagram message today, he wrote:
Finally I can tell you why the song for my father has another, quite different meaning for me: I am going to be a dad myself! Katharina and I are going to be parents! It’s due in late August! This year has been very exciting and wonderful so far!
