Vienna 2015

Edurne releases ‘Amanecer’

After months of suspense, tiny hints and building expectation, Edurne has now released her song for the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest. Amanecer is in Spanish only and has been written by Peter Boström, Thomas G:son and Tony Sánchez-Ohlsson.
After early rumours, Edurne was finally confirmed to represent Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 on 14th January. She’s 29 year old singer who rose to fame on the talent show Operación Triunfo in 2005. Two of her singles made it to the top ten in the Spanish charts, Despierta in 2006 and Ven Por Mí in 2007.
Only time can tell how Amanecer will do in Vienna, but in the past weeks, expectations just kept on building. A high profile video, a lot of promotion: Did Spain have a winner in the bag? Whether the song we have now heard is indeed the long awaited third winner for Spain? Who knows! Let us know what you think, but first, listen to Amanecer HERE!
