On 17th September, the Macedonian broadcaster MRT announced that they had chosen their representatives for Sofia – Ivana Petkovska and Magdalena Aleksovsk.
Following a public call for submissions by MRT, the decision to send the two 13 year olds to Bulgaria was made last week. More details on the duo, who live in Skopje as well as information regarding the song will be released next week.
Macedonia last participated at the Junior contest in 2013 with the song ‘Ohrid i muzika’ performed by then 13 year old Barbara Popović. Unfortunately, they finished last place at the contest with only 19pts.
