🇪🇪 Uku Suviste releases new single and music video “Müüdud ja Pakitud”

Last week, Estonia’s 2020 Eurovision Song Contest representative Uku Suviste released his new single “Müüdud ja Pakitud” alongside a brand new video clip!

A change in style

Uku was due to represent Estonia in the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest with his ballad “What Love Is”. Whilst ETV have chosen not to internally select him to represent the nation next year, he will be permitted to enter Eesti Laul should he wish to do so.

Uku’s new single was composed by himself alongside Karl-Ander Reismann. Resimann also undertook production duties. Lyrics for “Müüdud ja Pakitud” were written by Hendrik Sal-Saller. In addition, the guitar on the track was played by Peter Põder whilst background vocals come courtesy of Inga Tislar, Ketter Orav and Violeta Osula.

The song is different to Uku’s most recent Eesti Laul entries such as “What Love Is” and “Pretty Little Liar”. Of course, singing in his native language is the most noticable difference but the style of the track is much more relaxed and uptempo compared to the serious ballads we’ve heard previously.
