Eurovision Prediction

Be my guess: Welcome to Eurovision Prediction 2019!

Welcome, girl and boy! Take my hand, let’s enjoy! A very inventive pun we know. Yes, it is now September which means we have officially begun the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest season. Of course, with a new Eurovision Song Contest season comes a new edition of everyone’s favourite Eurovision-related game… Eurovision Prediction 2019!

Breaking all records in 2018… thanks to you!

Between 2014 and 2017, the fantastic Glen Bartlett created and hosted this fantastic online game but unfortunately stepped down from the game after the contest in Kyiv. Thankfully, he let us here at ESCXTRA.com become the new hosts of the game! Both regular players and brand new players joined us for Eurovision Prediction 2018 and we absolutely SMASHED the previous record number of participants.

An unprecedented 218 of you took part in Eurovision Prediction 2018. This more than doubled our previous record of 82 players achieved back in 2016. In addition, we more than tripled the 58 players that took part in 2017. Once again, we thank everyone who has played in 2018. Now, we hope you’ll join us all over again for Eurovision Prediction 2019!

What is Eurovision Prediction?

For those of you who have never played Eurovision Prediction before, it is a game where Eurovision fans from all over the world battle it out to become the champion! All players need to do is predict which entry will win each national final that takes place during the 2019 Eurovision season.

At the end of the season, the player with the most points takes the victory and becomes Eurovision Prediction Champion! Following its introduction last year, we will once again award a special “money can’t buy” prize to our 2019 winner. We shall reveal the official rules in the coming weeks…

Looking back at Eurovision Prediction 2018

After an unbelievably close competition this year, in which the top 11 were separated by just 7 points, the big prize went to Alex S. from Portugal! Alex was awarded a selection of items obtained by our press centre team on-site at this year’s contest in Lisbon. Alex kindly tweeted an image of his prize which you can see below. Perhaps next year it will be YOU winning a Eurovision 2019 hamper from Israel?

Our pleasure Alex!
