🇳🇴 Kaja Rode: “I want people to get happy when they listen to Feel Again.” [INTERVIEW]

Tonight Norway is choosing its Eurovision entry! NRK’s Melodi Grand Prix had several semi-finals to choose some of its finalists, but Kaja Rode did not have to worry about that. Her song “Feel Again” made it to the auto-qualifiers. We had the chance to speak with her before the final tonight about all things music, MGP, and Eurovision

From The Voice Norge to Melodi Grand Prix

Kaja Rode gained fame in Norway when she competed in The Voice Norge, which her mom signed her up for. She sang Beyoncé’s “Listen and all the four chairs turned for her! Despite not winning, Kaja shared that this was a great experience for her.

A few years after the Voice, Kaja was approached by songwriters in her hometown with a song for Melodi Grand Prix last year. Unfortunately this song was not selected by NRK. However, at the same time she was contacted by NRK who asked her to make a demo for “Feel Again.” Clearly, the songwriters liked her, and she got the song!
