He recently turned 21, his album is out in just over a week and on Monday, Benjamin Ingrosso performed “Paradise” the duo he wrote in collaboration with French duo Ofenbach.
The contestants were dancing it off!
Benjamin is having some busy times since flying the Swedish flag in Lisbon in May! As we reported last week, he announced that his album is coming out on September 28 and he also collaborated with French duo Ofenbach. And it was with the Paris-based DJs that Benjamin made an energetic appearance at the Italian beauty pageant. It seems like the contestants had a blast dancing along with the DJs and Benjamin. In fact, they were all showing some dance moves. They were really dancing it off! You can watch Benjamin’s show here. At the end of the night, 26-year old Carlotta Maggiorana from Rome was crowned Miss Italy. Besides performing, Benjamin also seems to have enjoyed some great pasta carbonara and tiramisù judging from his instagram stories. His Italian roots don’t lie!
Benjamin at Eurovision
Benjamin Ingrosso became Sweden’s 58th entrant at Eurovision after winning the longest and fan beloved selection show Melodifestivalen. He had previously made an attempt to represent Sweden in 2017 with his song “Good Lovin” and ended in 5th place in final. However, in 2018 he emerged victorious with his entry “Dance You Off!”. In Lisbon, he continued Sweden’s streak of successful results qualifying from the second semi-final with second place and finishing 7th in the grand final with 274 points, placing 2nd with the juries.
