Vienna 2015

Anita and Michele build a chain of lights to Vienna

This morning, SMRTV has released the song Anita Simoncini and Michele Perniola will sing in Vienna. Their song will be called Chain Of Lights.
As we’re used to by now, the Sammarinese entry has been composed by German Eurovision veteran Ralph Siegel, who was also responsible for all three of Valentina Monetta’s songs in Eurovision. The lyrics have been written by ‘John O’Flynn’: A pseudonym for Ralph Siegel’s colleague and team partner since ages, Bernd Meinunger. The success duo returns to Eurovision once more! The first song the two wrote together for Eurovision was Dschinghis Khan for Germany back in 1979, also composing the 1980, 1981 and 1982 German entries together. The last two Eurovision songs the two had together went down with less success: If We All Give A Little for Switzerland in 2006, performed by Six4One and Just Get Out Of My Life by Andrea Demirovic for Montenegro in 2009.
Both Anita and Michele have a Eurovision history, both competing in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Michele Perniola represented San Marino in 2013, whereas Anita Simoncini did so in 2014 with her group The Peppermints. You can watch their song, Chain of Lights, below!
