Executive Producer, Editor in Chief and Lead Director for Eurovision 2019 revealed

The core team gets more members

The host broadcaster for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest 2019, KAN, has announced two core team members for next years huge production! After the meeting between broadcaster KAN and the EBU last month, the whole foundation of the production already gets into shape for the upcoming contest.

Meet Zivit Davidovitch & Yuval Cohen

Zivit joins the team as Executive Producer. She worked with the Israeli Channel Ten for the past fourteen years. First as Head of Production and three years later as Vice President Production. She will join the host broadcaster KAN next month to take over her new job. Zivit worked on a huge variety of TV genres. She was for example involved in the Israeli broadcast for the World and Euro Cup, Miss Israel and the Israeli version of the Bachelor.
Yuval Cohen becomes Editor in Chief and Lead Director.  Yuval also worked at Channel Ten for the past years as Head of Programmes and Development. He worked on many big events like the Israeli version of The Voice, he edited Dancing With The Stars for three years and he even has some Eurovision experience, as he did the Israeli Eurovision National Selection in 2010.

What are their jobs?

Zivit as the Executive Producer is ultimately responsible for the entire show and executive contact within KAN and the EBU as well as the project’s leader. She is basically the boss of the whole production and organization.  Yuval as Editor in Chief is a publication’s editorial leader who has final responsibility for its operations and policies. As the lead director, he is also in charge of the main points of the show including the end design for the graphics for example.
The EBU will announce more and more team members over the next couple of months. Moreover, we get to know the dates and the city for the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in the next time. Stay tuned.
