Throwback to Junior Eurovision 2018

In November 2018, 20 delegations traveled to Belarus’ capital Minsk. A record! Unfortunately Cyprus withdrew, but lots of other participants joined the competition. Wales and Kazakhstan made their debut. Israel, Azerbaijan and France made their return. Minsk was ready to light up the world with a brilliant show. Another historical thing happened that year: Three countries managed to score over 200 points: Australia, France and of course winner Poland.

Roksana Węgiel got the honour to represent her country Poland after TVP elected her internally. Winning The Voice Kids of Poland earlier that year clearly made a big impression on the broadcaster. In Minsk, Poland got chosen as the show closer which was obviously a promising decision for the country. After the voting, Roksana received a total of 215 points including 136 points from the online jury.
