Wales: S4C auditions dancers for Manw’s Minsk stage show

Exactly one month today, the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest will take place in the Belarusian capital city of Minsk. Therefore, final preparations are underway for many of the participating broadcasters. This includes Welsh broadcaster S4C, represented by Manw Robin and the song Berta.

Final preparations for Minsk

Last Friday, October 19th, auditions for young dancers took place in the Welsh capital city of Cardiff. The auditions, held by S4C, were to find dancers to accompany Manw on stage in Minsk. Whilst no specific details about Manw’s performance have been unveiled, images on Facebook indicate the possibility that four dancers will join the Welsh stage show.

Manw was present at the auditions, alongside Tara Bethan who was her mentor on Welsh selection show Chwilio am Seren – Search for a Star and one of the three judges.

My first memory of watching the Eurovision Song Contest was back in 2001 and, over the years, my passion and enthusiasm for the contest has very much turned into an obsession. I adore music and I love geography, so this contest is a natural fit for me. If la la loving Eurovision was a crime, I'd certainly be a criminal!
