The Scoop

Westlife sell out “Twenty Tour” in minutes! Including Croke Park (TWICE)!

Nicky Byrne and his colleagues from Westlife are back stronger than ever! It’s only been a few weeks since Westlife announced a brand new album and a tour for next year for their 20th anniversary. Last week the tickets for the highly anticipated tour went on sale and sold like there is no tomorrow!

Westlife sell out Croke Park in 7 minutes!

I think many people thought that the tickets might sell well, but nobody expected it to sell out Croke Park in 7 minutes. If you don’t know Croke Park… it’s HUGE! We’re talking here about 85.000 people in one show. No surprise, new dates including a second date at Croke Park have been added right away! Westlife are making their way through the UK and Ireland for now. If there will be more dates in other countries is unknown till now.

Croke Park was also the place, where they had their final concert of their “Farewell Tour” back in 2012. Needless to say, that it was sold out back then. The 170k tickets for the two new shows at Croke Park sold out in less than a day and will be for now be the final again for their upcoming “Twenty Tour”!

Nicky previously said that it’s possible, that this tour could spread into a world tour. Keep your eyes open. Westlife is definitely back and we can’t wait to hear new music! If you are very lucky, you might get one of the very few tickets left.

Dominik Rössing

Hey, I'm Dominik from Germany. Watched my first Eurovision in 2003 and I was in love right away! Attended my first contest in 2011 and every contest since 2013. The same happened with Melodifestivalen. Started watching in 2006 and been to every final since 2017 and try to make it to at least one heat each year, too. After all, Melodifestivalen is the real deal ♥
