Spooky goings on as Hallowe’en hits the Eurovision world!

This week, the world celebrated Hallowe’en… and the Eurovision world was no different. It’s the scariest time of the year and our favourite Eurovision artists have been dressing up and celebrating this scary day. Whether they went trick or treating or just dressed up to impress, here were some of the best costumes from the Eurovision universe!

While they are this week’s headlines, there’s still lots more Eurovision news and gossip to feast on! Hungary and Montenegro opened up their submissions process for their 2019 selections, whilst the Czech Republic confirmed the second outing for their national final Eurovision Song CZ (ESCZ). In addition, former Junior Eurovision contestant Helena Meraai was confirmed as one of three hosts for this month’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Minsk.

In the latest edition of our XTRA debate series, many of you got in touch on social media to showcase your opinions on which nations actually want to win the Eurovision Song Contest.

My first memory of watching the Eurovision Song Contest was back in 2001 and, over the years, my passion and enthusiasm for the contest has very much turned into an obsession. I adore music and I love geography, so this contest is a natural fit for me. If la la loving Eurovision was a crime, I'd certainly be a criminal!
