🇳🇴 Ulrikke Brandstorp climbs to #3 on the Norwegian Spotify charts

Ulrikke is storming the charts

After winning Norway’s Melodi Grand Prix last Saturday, Ulrikke Brandstorp’s Eurovision 2020 entry “Attention” has now also become a hit in Norway. On Sunday, the song was streamed over 80 thousand times and it climbed to the number three spot on the Norwegian Spotify chart.

Norway Top 200 on Spotify (16th of February)

3. Ulrikke Brandstorp – Attention
11. Raylee – Wild
23. Kristin Husøy – Pray For Me
58. Rein Alexander – One Last Time
61. Tone Damli – Hurts Sometimes
68. Magnus Bokn – Over the Sea
84. Liza Vassilieva – I Am Gay
111. Didrik & Emil Solli-Tangen – Out of Air
116. Akuvi – Som du er

Top 4 almost identical

Despite 30-member-jury choosing the four qualifiers to the second round of the final, the Spotify listeners seem to mostly agree with them. Raylee‘s “Wild” was the second most streamed Melodi Grand Prix song, followed by Kristin Husøy‘s “Pray For Me”. Both of them qualified to the second round of voting and Kristin Husøy made it all the way to the gold duel, where she eventually lost to Ulrikke.

The only difference is with Liza Vassilieva, who also reached the top 4 in Saturday’s final. The Spotify listeners have streamed Rein Alexander, Tone Damli and Magnus Bokn more than Liza’s entry “I Am Gay”.

Sondrey is the only artist who didn’t get his song to the top 200 most streamed songs in Norway on Sunday. Instead, Lisa Børud‘s “Talking About Us” is still on the chart. Lisa competed in the first semifinal of the national selection but finished second behind Raylee.
