Day 3: 🇫🇷 Angélina is full of smiles and dancing for France

ESCXTRA are live from Minsk for day 3 of rehearsals ahead of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018! 

Today’s schedule

Today, the countries rehearsing for the second time, in chronological order, are Israel, Ireland, Georgia, F.Y.R. Macedonia, France, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Australia, Armenia and Albania. Have a look at the full detailed rehearsal schedule by clicking here!

The next artist to rehearse today is Angélina from France. We have just watched the latest run through of Jamais Sans Toi. Now, let’s compare the differences between the first and second rehearsals!

Second rehearsal changes

France’s first rehearsal was arguably one of the most polished we’d seen, so naturally there’s little that has been changed. Angélina’s backing dancers were being even more theatrical with their on-stage acting this time round, increasing the fun and youthfulness of the performance.

Angélina herself also constantly smiles at the camera, creating a very warm and inviting feeling. Whether there’s been minor changes we’re unsure, but the pink and white swirl LEDs come in for each post-chorus breakdown with the Paris park LED for each verse and chorus. The setting throughout now seems to be at evening time.

During the post-choruses we get shots of children in the arena mimicking Angélina’s “foot to knee” dance… it’s all so fun! Everything points to a challenge at the top end of the leaderboard for France, and it’s runnkng order position only reenforces that!

How to vote!

Online voting is now open! Votes can be cast via vote.junioreurovision.tv. Viewers from all over the world can vote for between three and five countries.

Voting closes at 3.59pm CET on Sunday 25th November, just before the beginning of the live broadcast. Then, voting will reopen during the show for fifteen minutes following the final performance so that any final votes can be cast.
